Dr. Halgren has been a regional expert on complex corneal and anterior segment issues since his arrival at UNMC in 2002.

He is a local, regional and national speaker on topics of ocular surface and corneal diseases.

Outside work, he enjoys golf, tennis, spectator sports, the performing arts, travel and spending time with his wife and two children.
