Dr. Nathan Welch grew up skiing, biking, and playing tennis in Idaho. After doing mission work in Brazil for two years, he attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with honors, a B.A. in Latin American Studies, and a minor in Zoology. He received his MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine internship at UNMC. He is currently an ophthalmology resident at UNMC. He is grateful for the support of his wife and children.
