Jean Grem, M.D.
Molecular treatment of tumors

Jean Grem, M.D., is investigating the treatment of cancer tumors at the molecular level. She is developing clinical trials that will use a patient's molecular profile to determine the best drug therapy for a particular cancer. Her research will involve patients with advanced colorectal, esophageal, pancreatic and stomach cancer.

Dr. Grem was the head gastrointestinal cancer researcher/clinician at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Md., before joining the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center. She directs the Gastrointestinal Oncology Program and the Oncology Drug Development Program.
