The Department of Genetics, Cell Biology and Anatomy participates in the Summer Undergraduate Research Program through the college of Medicine. We request in addition to the on-line application, the interested student supply unofficial transcripts, two letters of recommendation and a paragraph about their research experience.
Successful applicants will be placed in a lab working on a research project. The program begins on the first work day after Memorial Weekend and usually runs ten weeks for which a student will receive a stipend of $375 per week.Each applicant will be notified of their status between the application closing date of March 1, 2009 and the completion of faculty review of applications date of April 15, 2009.
