Indications:

Breast cancer to determine if there is HER2 amplification

Sample Requirements:

H&E slide with the invasive tumor component outlined with a marker. Two blank 3-5 micron sections of formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue on Plus slides, sectioned proximal to the H&E, and a copy of the Pathology Report.

Shipping Requirements:

Transport at room temperature. Deliver ASAP with a completed Cytogenetics & Molecular Cytogenetics Requisition form. Notify HGL by calling (402) 559-5070 when specimen is being shipped.
