Surgical Oncology involves the
surgical treatment and care of cancer. Our surgeons specialize in the
treatment of cancers of the breast, thyroid, colon, pancreas, lung, gastrointestinal,
hepato-biliary, and malignant melanoma.
The surgeons see potential patients for evaluations in
either the
UNMC Physician's Surgery clinic (directions) located on 5th floor of the Durham Outpatient Center as
well as the Peggy Cowdery Cancer Center (directions)
in the Lied Transplant Center on the
3rd floor.
