THORACIC SURGERY Thoracic surgery specializes in general respiratory disorders, including pulmonary malignant tumors, especially lung cancer, infectious lung diseases, irreversible progressive diffuse lung diseases, and mediastinal tumors. This specialty area is staffed by a specialty trained and board certified thoracic surgeon, Dr. Rudy Lackner.
