1 APPLY FOR ADMISSION Students must submit the online application and supporting documents by the appropriate deadlines. Additionally, a $45 application fee, three letters of recommendation, a narrative describing the applicant’s career goals, and official transcripts of all college work must be sent to the Graduate Studies Office by the program deadlines. Note: students may only apply to one degree program.
Students applying late may encounter delays in admission and may not be able to register for the desired session. Transcripts and all other materials submitted in support of an application become the permanent property of the University and will not be returned.
DEADLINES All programs have specific deadlines. It is advisable to check with the program concerned as to the specific application deadline and the best starting date for that particular program.
REFERENCES Three references are required.
NARRATIVE A narrative in which the applicant describes his/her career goals and how a graduate degree in the requested program would aid in achieving these goals must be submitted.
2 GRE SCORES Students must arrange to have their official score report sent from the Educational Testing Service. The institutional code for the University of Nebraska Medical Center is 6896.
3 OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS Students must arrange to have official transcripts of all college work sent directly to UNMC Graduate Studies Office.
