  • Building UNMC-Based Research Programs Focused on Wellness, Frailty, and Aging
The purpose of this study is to establish a database and registry that will be used to contact persons about aging research opportunities in the UNMC Division of Geriatrics.
  • Pilot Testing a New Computer-Based Screening Tool to Detect Cognitive Impairment
This is a research study about testing thinking abilities using computer-based tasks. The purpose of this study is to determine whether a computer-based screening tool can aid in the detection and monitoring of problems in thinking skills.
  • Mobile Monitoring of Functional Behaviors in Ambulatory Patients
We will dispense a cell phone to you equipped with GPS (Global Positioning System). We will show you how to charge and use the cell phone. You will carry the phone with you when leaving the house and record location and time in a diary log book. We ask that the phone be put on the charger nightly. At the end of 30 days, we will ask that you return your cell phone/charger and diary log book.

If you are interested in participating in the research or have questions, contact Jackie Whittington at 402-559-6117.
