Summary of Services

The Staff Diversity Specialist is responsible for:

• Advancing the campus' commitment to diversity and cultural competence;
• Building a diverse workforce reflective of local population demographics;
• Increasing the retention rate of underrepresented minorities;
• Developing an accountability method for culturally competent management skills/behaviors;
• Identifying campus needs and providing necessary training opportunities to enhance diversity; and
• Providing leadership for the Employee Diversity Network.
