Transfer at UNMC (See Policy #1004)

Employees are encouraged to seek positions for which they are qualified.  Transfers must meet the following conditions:

•  Employees must have satisfactorily completed six months employment in their present positions.
• Employees must have at least a satisfactory performance evaluation, or if none has been completed, must demonstrate satisfactory work performance during the last 12 months of service.
• Employees must meet minimum qualifications for the position.
• Employees must not have transferred within the last 12 months.
