Intensive Language at UNO (ILUNO) has offered English as second language to international students for nearly 35 years. New ILUNO students collaborate with program instructors to evaluate their English ability and select language classes at one of six levels – beginning to advanced. The International Professional Development (IPD) delivers short-term, intensive training in English language and communication skills. Participants have gained a competitive edge in an increasingly interconnected global marketplace by improving their English ability, increasing their knowledge of global business practices, and developing their professional networks. The program instructors are all willing to collaboratively develop custom programming to meet unique needs of UNMC students, such as medical English.
IPD is also open to the partners of students studying at UNO and UNMC. The next session begins on 7 January 2013.
