Nebraska House at The Lied Transplant Center The Lied Transplant Center includes 66 suites designed for comfort and privacy. They contain comfortable furnishings, abundant storage space, adjustable lighting, separate sleeping and living areas, a kitchenette, private bathroom in a home-like environment. These rooms also come equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, television and VCR. Laundry facilities and many other amenities are designed to make a guest's stay comfortable. Nebraska House in the SSP Building The SSP building, which is adjacent to The Lied Transplant Center and The Nebraska Medical Center University Tower, has 21 economy rooms that include two twin beds or one double bed, furniture, television and VCR. Laundry facilities are also available. Potter's House This classic Omaha home serves as a temporary residence for transplant patients and their family in a community living-type arrangement. Just four blocks from the hospital, the house has been fully renovated with 10 bedrooms, a large kitchen and comfortable family areas. Please note that a referral is required from the Social Work or Transplant Coordinator offices. For more information, call 402-559-3090. Ronald McDonald House Completed in 1994, Omaha's Ronald McDonald House is located just three blocks from campus. Families of pediatric patients can stay at this facility for $7.50 per night.
