 Why do you love UNMC?

Maybe it’s because of a co-worker, the work that you do, or an instructor that pushed you to be a better student.  There are potentially thousands of reasons, whether you work here, are a student, alumnus or just a friend of UNMC. 

November 2008 through January 2009, people had an opportunity to tell us why they loved UNMC.  Eighteen videos were submitted by students, employees and friends of UNMC. The entries were extremely creative and UNMC introduced Chuckles the Gnome to give contest updates. 

All videos were uploaded and featured on UNMC’s YouTube, Facebook and MySpace pages.  Random prize drawings were held throughout the contest.

As of Jan. 30, 2009, the 10 most viewed videos advanced as finalists for the Grand Prize and 1^st and 2^nd runner-up prizes.  A vote by the UNMC campuses and judging committee awarded the top videos prizes.  The winners won a Husker football package, Joslyn Castle party and a family package prize, respectively.
