Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Mathers' is a general cardiologist at UNMC. His clinical interests include a specialization in echocardiology, and he has attained Level III status with the American Board of Echocardiographers. Dr. Mathers has a particular interest in the art of teaching and teaching methods as they pertain to medical education. He serves as the Program Director for the Cardiology-Pulmonary Core Curriculum for second-year medical students.
