Geriatric Career Opportunities
"Geriatric Health Careers Workshop"
Is designed to stimulate student's interest in health issues affecting older people and exploring health professions that work with elderly patients. Geriatric Health Careers Workshop was developed in 2006 by Dr. Jane Potter, Section Chief for Geriatric Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine along with a multidisciplinary team of UNMC faculty from nursing, pharmacy, medicine, physician assistant and physical therapy. Faculty from the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s department of social work also work with the students. For more information click here.
