The Sunny Side of Geriatrics
A Summer experience in Geriatric Medicine
Geriatric medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is involved with caring for the aging population. Physicians come to the specialty through family medicine or internal medicine. As the aging population increases, geriatrics will become more and more important. Regardless of the field of medicine you choose, a solid understanding of the issues involved with aging will not only be valuable but necessary.
