Gastroenterology and Hepatology Patient Services
Inpatients and outpatients are seen in our state-of-the-art Endoscopy Center. Under the medical directorship of Tim McCashland, M.D., the Endoscopy Center is designed to provide total care for patients undergoing therapeutic or diagnostic endoscopy.
Dr. Grant Hutchins has recently returned from a year of advanced therapeutic endoscopy training at the University of Florida. Dr Hutchins now performs endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with full diagnostic and therapeutic potential including fine needle aspiration capability. We offer a dedicated ERCP practice including an emphasis on therapeutic pancreatic practice and more aggressive stricture management, (amongst other modalities), as well as endoscopic mucosal resection.
Patients come from across the country and from around the globe for liver transplantation at UNMC. Dr. Tim McCashland and our team of hepatologists manage the patient's care before and after transplantation and are active members of UNMC's world-renown transplantation program. |
