Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Maness is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Internal Medicine at UNMC. She received her clinical training in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center. Dr. Maness' interest is in the treatment of patients with leukemia, especially those who are elderly. She is also a transplant physician and is involved in investigating the factors that contribute to the occurrence of secondary malignancies among transplant patients. Dr. Maness is a member of the Acute Myelogenous Leukemia Panel of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.
