Wyatt Lab Research Opportunities
Over 30 trainees consisting of PhD postdoctoral fellows, MD pulmonary fellows, Graduate Students, Medical Students, and Undergraduates have trained in the Wyatt Lab. Our laboratory is located in the Durham Research Center II, a state-of-the-art research facility. We are continually interested in identifying talented individuals to add to our research team.
Anyone interested in doing postdoctoral research in the lab should contact Dr. Wyatt. Be prepared to supply a curriculum vitae, statement of research interests, and three people who can write letters on your behalf. Specific information can be found at the Office of Postdoctoral Education.
Any student who is interested in pursuing their thesis research in the lab who is in good standing in the PhD program of the College of Public Health at UNMC should contact Dr. Wyatt. Apply at the UNMC College of Public Health EAOH Department.
A UNMC medical student who is interested in spending a summer in the lab conducting research should contact Dr. Wyatt.
Interested UNMC medical students should contact Sonja Cox.
Any undergraduate student who is interested in spending their summer in the lab in an independent research project should contact Dr. Wyatt. Interested applicants should visit Summer Undergraduate Research Programs web page. Applications to the Summer Undergraduate Alcohol Research Program (SUARP) are due on March 1 of each year.
