The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has been established to assure the protection of all human subjects in research projects conducted by anyone on the premises of the University of Nebraska Medical Center/The Nebraska Medical Center/UNO and to research conducted elsewhere by faculty, students, staff, or other representatives of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in connection with their institutional responsibilities.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
All key personnel involved with the conduct of human subjects research at UNMC/The Nebraska Medical Center/UNO need to complete the required training in protection of human research subjects. New research protocols or continuing review of on-going projects will not be approved until all key personnel have been trained and certified.
