iPad Wireless Connectivity
Connecting to “Guest” and “Private” (TK-421) UNMC Wireless Networks using iPad and iPhones
Connecting to Guest
- Go to “Settings”.
- Go to “Wi-Fi”.
- Slide “Wi-Fi” setting to “on” (if not already set).
- Select “Guest” from the “Choose a Network” list. Doing so mighttake you to a Web Authentication screen. Click “Accept”.
- Launch Safari and go to any website. Doing so might take you to a Web Authentication screen first. Click “Accept”.
- The web page you want to be at should now be there.
- You will be allowed about 8 hours on Guest. Reconnect with the above steps as needed after that.
Connecting to TK-421
- Go to “Settings”.
- Go to “Wi-Fi”.
- Slide “Wi-Fi” setting to “on” (if not already set).
- Select “TK-421” from the “Choose a Network” list. Doing so will prompt you for your network (UNMCNet, Olympus, unmcphysicians) username and password. Tap once at the “username” space. Doing so will open up a keyboard – enter your username. After that, tap once at the password space. Again, doing so will open up a keyboard – enter your password.
- Click the JOIN key (from the keyboard).
- TK-421 will be showing for the Wireless Network you are connected to and should connect automatically whenever you are in the range of TK-421.
