Instant Messaging Converted to Cloud Solution - August 20, 2013

On Tuesday, August 20, 2013,  ITS converted existing instant messaging accounts to the new cloud solution.   This is part of an ongoing project to move some  Microsoft Office products to a cloud based solution, also called an internet housed solution.   

Instant messaging customers will need to take action to continue using instant messaging.   This is only a one-time action and the cloud solution looks the same.

Important:  Your user name is now your full email addess userid@unmc.edu

Windows Operating System– Requires downloading additional software from eServ called Microsoft Single Sign On Assistant (MSSOA)

Mac OS – Requires one-time manual configuration
