Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP)

Cost:  About $10 (faculty/staff responsible for payment)

As an active faculty or staff member, you are now eligible to participate in Microsoft's Software Assurance Home Use Program (HUP). This program enables you to get a licensed copy of most Microsoft® Office desktop PC applications to install and use on your home computer.

Under the Home Use Program, active faculty and staff may acquire a licensed copy of the corresponding Home Use Program software (e.g. Office Enterprise) to install and use on a home computer. You may ONLY use HUP software while you are employed by UNMC, and as long as the corresponding software you use at work has active Software Assurance coverage.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Faculty and staff assume full responsibility for purchasing, installing and ensuring they are using the software within the licensing parameters.  The software must be removed from your personal device when you are no longer employed by UNMC.

Log into Employee Services (eServ) to get the purchase code information.  This includes a programming code that cannot be shared with anyone outside of UNMC faculty/staff.    You may not share this number with students.
