ITS classes are free to UNMC and UNMC Physicians faculty, staff, and students.

Registration
  1. UNMC and UNMC-Physicians faculty and staff may go to https://net.unmc.edu/eserv and sign in using your UNMC Net ID and password.
  2. Go to the Education tab and select My Registrations from Event Registration.
  3. Find the session you wish to register for by either scrolling through the list of classes under the Events/Training section or by typing a keyword in the Search field. Select the class and click the Get Details button.
  4. Course details will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. Register by typing your last name in the Name field and select your name from the drop-down list.
  5. Click the Register button.
Students and UNMC retirees may email csttrain@unmc.edu or call 402-559-7284 to register.

If a class is full, please check back again, as there are often last minute cancellations. You may contact 9-7284 to be placed on a "wait list." You can also consider coming the day of the class, as we often have "no shows."  We will seat those registered at the start of class and seat those "wait listed" if space is available. Late arrivals or others may have to share a computer.

Training Room Location

The UNMC Computing Training room is located in Room 8011 Wittson Hall (8th floor of the Library of Medicine). The room contains 16 student computers with high speed Internet connections, networked to a laser printer and overhead video and audio projection.

Private Classes

The Educational Coordinator is also available to schedule a private class for your department. Please contact Kim Laursen at 402-559-5674 for more information.
