Location, Maps, and Hours

The library is located on the 6th, 7th, and 8th floors of Wittson Hall, which is located on 42nd St. between Dewey Ave. and Emile St in Omaha, Nebraska. Our mailing address is 986705 Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha NE  68198-6705. For assistance in locating the library, please call 402-559-4006.

Public parking is available in the garage next to the Durham Outpatient Center (DOC) on Emile St. To find the library from the parking garage, enter the DOC on the 3rd level. Stay on this level and walk eastward through the hospital toward 42nd Street. You will pass through an enclosed walkway that connects the hospital to Wittson Hall.

Once in Wittson Hall, walk toward the glass doors at the end of the hall and watch for elevators to your left. Take the elevator to the 6th floor, the main floor of the library.

Please note that after 8 p.m., access to Wittson Hall is limited to UNMC Faculty, Students, and Staff with an authorized UNMC ID card.
