- The AMA maintains this site as a reference for the general public
to allow quick access to demographic and professional information on
physicians in the U.S. You can search by name or medical specialty,
and there is a FAQ section to help, with links to other AMA pages that
provide information on current topics.

- This directory/information database is built from information obtained
from the Health Care Financing Administration. There are free services
and subscription services to access information on hospitals, the latter
being more detailed.
- Case Management Resource Guide

- This is a huge, searchable database of over 11,000 specialty healthcare
services, facilities, businesses, and organizations with 11 for-profit
sponsors. The emphasis is on homecare and/or rehabilitation and self-care
and services or businesses that aid in that. You may also search for
companies and networks, product manuals, information and support resources,
or disease management resources. There are also articles provided by
the sponsors for continuing education credit in disease management.

- The American Board of Medical Specialties' Public Education Program
provides this interactive site as a physician locator and information
service. It allows you to search free of charge for board-certified
physicians who have chosen to be listed. If they are unlisted you can
still verify their certification. Besides their addresses and certifications,
hospital and health plan affiliations and links to Web pages are given
for listed physicians.
