Request a non-UNMC Dissertation

Request the dissertation through the Order Articles book request form. The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Department will attempt to borrow a copy from another institution. The charge is $9, with students receiving the item free if the request is within their first 50 requests for that fiscal year (July-June).

If other institutions do not permit dissertation borrowing, the ILL Department can purchase a printed copy for you at a cost of $29, a reduced rate offered to libraries from ProQuest UMI Publishing. The ILL Department will offer you this option if a copy cannot be borrowed. Payment must be made upon receipt of the dissertation.

Dissertation Binding Guidelines

Copies of the dissertation that are compiled according to the proper guidelines can be delivered to the Library Administration office, which is located on the 6th floor of the library.
