UNMC LiveGreen initiative has evolved from a four committee team structure to a project team structure. The new project teams will have one or two implementation coordinators who coordinate the overall project. One measurement co-leader and one communication co-leader will sit on all project teams. Other LiveGreen Leadership Committee members are encouraged/expected to participate on a project-team as well. This new model allows LiveGreen volunteers to participate in initiatives that interest them and gives them the opportunity to get involved in several ways (with communication, measurement, and implementation). It should help with overall engagement/involvement, increase the number of initiatives that can be coordinated/implemented at one time, and help improve communication as well as the efficiency of LiveGreen’s efforts.
