The latest addition to the campus of the University of Nebraska Medical Center is the new Durham Research Center. It houses state-of-the-art laboratories, classrooms and as well as a large amphitheater. The Durham Research Center promotes collaboration among researchers across disciplines and houses multi-disciplinary research activities in UNMC's strategic priority areas. It will not only lead to cutting-edge research initiatives in Nebraska, the Durham Research Center also houses educational facilities equipped with instructional technology to train health-care professionals. The 319-seat auditorium allows for symposia, workshops and community outreach programs. This is a very exciting addition that enhances the Medical Center's goal of attaining research excellence!
