The Avian flu, SARS, monkey pox, West Nile virus, hepatitis C, E. coli.
New diseases are springing up around the world and old diseases are
re-emerging as new problems. What is science doing to identify, track,
contain, treat and prevent these health threats? During this four-week program,
UNMC brings together experts in the areas of infectious
diseases, public health and biosecurity to provide an overview of these
current threats and what health professionals and scientists are doing to
combat them.
