The Center for Advanced Surgical Technology (CAST) is a multi-disciplinary, multi-department, multi-campus collaborative effort at the University of Nebraska. The affiliation provides an appropriate research, training, and clinical practice infrastructure that facilitates interaction and collaborative research among surgeons, physicians, life scientists, engineers, and computer scientists who are specifically interested in contributing to work on biomedical issues.
