Facility for Mutation and Methylation Analysis

The Facility is located at the Durham Research Center II on the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus and provides services for detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and methylation using a candidate gene approach. These services are available for academic researchers worldwide. The laboratory operates a Sequenom iPLEX system based on MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. The staff of the core facility includes a PhD level scientist director, and a research technologist for processing user samples.
