The goal of the Autism Social Club is to enrich the social opportunities and assist in developing friendship circles for middle and high school students, as well as, adults with Asperger's Syndrome or Autism Spectrum Disorders. Activities include karaoke, dancing, cooking, sports, aquatics, movies, bowling and concerts. The clubs are held at MMI with some community outings and meet monthly on Friday or Saturday afternoon or evening. Activity technicians and/or typically developing adult volunteers provide social support during club activities and the cost is minimal.
