The Early Development Network Training - North Platte

The Role of Families as Leaders in The Early Development Network (EDN)
March 16, 2013, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Strengthen your involvement in planning for your child’s services as well as the local and state services systems for children and families.  This training will help families:

  • EDN LogoUnderstand the history of Nebraska’s Early Development Network and how it supports your child and your family
  • Review the Nebraska law that requires state and community agencies to work together to help children and families
  • Understand the role and responsibilities families have in family-centered programs
  • Learn the skills that families need to be valuable members of Planning Region Teams and state teams, including helping to develop your child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and Individualized Education Program (IEP)
