Dr. Lisa St. Clair will serve as the evaluator for a one year coaching and mentoring project provided by master teachers from Educare of Omaha who will coach teachers in the Omaha Public Schools Head Start classrooms. The purpose of the grant is to enhance quality of programming and ultimately outcomes for young children as they prepare to enter school. Classroom quality will be assessed using the CLASS observation tool (Pianta et al) and child outcomes will primarily be measured through standard scores on the Bracken School Readiness Assessment.
