Geneticists and genetic counselors are available Mondays and Wednesdays to see patients who have a possible genetic syndrome.
Patients who are appropriate for referral to this clinic are those with:
- A suspected genetic disorder or syndrome
- Abnormal genetic test results (i.e. chromosome analysis, microarray or another specific genetic test)
- Autism
- Developmental delay and/or mental retardation
- Multiple congenital anomalies
- Multiple family members with the same genetic condition
- We are happy to see both pediatric and adult patients.
