The Clinical Genetics department provides education for many different student groups at UNMC as well as students and clinicians affiliated with other institutions. Our department offers internships for genetic counseling students, genetic training for residents and training for medical students.
The Medical Genetics Fellowship is a two-year program offering necessary training to diagnose, treat and counsel individuals. The program is certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics through the Munroe-Meyer Institute and by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) under the Department of Pediatrics at UNMC.
