Graduate students pursuing degrees in clinical or school psychology or in applied behavior analysis are invited to apply for a semester or yearlong externship in the department of psychology at MMI. Externships typically involve 1 to 2 days per week for either the fall semester, spring semester, or both. Students can observe and participate in the delivery of clinical services to children with a wide variety of behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disabilities and their families. Externs can participate in ongoing research projects and some have been able to develop and complete research using small n research designs. Students can participate in professional development activities, as well as, attend clinical seminars and grand rounds.
