The Grand Island Behavioral Health Clinic is one of many outreach sites now operating throughout the state as part of the Munroe-Meyer Institute’s Psychology program. This Grand Island site was established in July, 2008 and is located within the Grand Island Clinic office building. This clinic provides behavioral health services for children, adolescents and their families in Central Nebraska. Within this clinic, Dr. Rebecca Gathje provides outpatient behavioral health services to address a variety of behavioral health concerns, specializing in the following conditions:
- Aggression
- Anxiety
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism
- Noncompliance
- School academic and behavior difficulties
- Sleep problems
- Tantrums
- Urinary and fecal incontinence
Dr. Gathje received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Syracuse University in 2009. She completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship with the Munroe-Meyer Institute.
Patients are seen at the Behavioral Health Clinic on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays. The Grand Island Clinic is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. No referral is necessary.
