Hawthorne Court Clinic

Hawthorne ClinicHawthorne Court Behavioral Health Clinic was established in 2009. The clinic is located near 176th and “Q” Street in the Methodist Physicians Clinic Hawthorne Court building. The clinic provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families.

The primary clinician is Dr. Brett Kuhn, a licensed psychologist and Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the Munroe-Meyer Institute and University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Kuhn received his PhD in clinical psychology from Oklahoma State University (1992) and completed his internship at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He is certified in behavioral sleep medicine (C.BSM) by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Kuhn’s areas of specialty include early to middle-childhood, child and adolescent sleep disorders, elimination disorders (potty training, enuresis/bed-wetting, encopresis/soiling), disruptive behavior disorders (noncompliance, aggression, temper tantrums, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder), and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). A native of Nebraska, Dr. Kuhn co-authored The Toddler Owners Manual: Operating Instructions, Troubleshooting Tips, and Advice on System Maintenance.

Currently, appointments are available on Thursdays between 1:00-5:00pm.
