Dr. Leibowitz is the Hattie B. Munroe Professor and Director of Munroe-Meyer Institute. He is also Director of MMI’s federally designated Nebraska University Center of Excellence on Disabilities. In addition, he serves as Professor of Medical Psychology and Section Chief of Rehabilitation Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics, UNMC College of Medicine.

Research Interests and Projects:
Dr. Leibowitz has published numerous research articles and book chapters on mental retardation, child behavior analysis and child development and has been principal or co-principal investigator on over thirty federal and state grants.
