Creighton University General Pediatrics

The Creighton Behavioral Health Clinic was developed in 2004 through Children’s Physicians at Creighton University Medical Center.

The primary staff is Dr. Holly Roberts, Dr. Joseph Evans and Dr. Linda Cook. Pediatricians at this clinic include: Drs. Bernard Douglas, Anthony Yaghmour, Cathy Hudson, and Cristina Fernandez. Dr. Holly Roberts received her Ph.D. from Illinois State University in 2005. In addition to providing outpatient behavioral health services at Creighton Pediatrics, Dr. Roberts also provides these services at Boys Town Pediatrics in Papillion. Because Dr. Roberts’ clinics are in the Omaha area, she is able to provide rotations and training experiences in behavioral primary care to 3rd year medical students, medical residents, and master’s level students. She is also involved with research focusing on the educational and behavioral outcomes of neonatal intensive care unit graduates. Dr. Roberts is an adjunct instructor for the School Psychology Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Dr. Joseph Evans is the Director of the Psychology Department at the Munroe Meyer Institute and was the guiding force behind the Outreach Program which places behavioral health specialists within a pediatric clinic setting. Having behavioral specialists located in a familiar environment enables easy contact between clients and a behavioral psychologist.

Dr. Linda Cook received her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of California at Santa Barbara and her Masters in Counseling (PLMHP) at Doane College. She specializes in the use of telemedicine to improve delivery of mental health services to underserved areas in the state of Nebraska.

Dr. Roberts and Dr. Cook are available on Tuesdays. Spanish Interpreters are available for all appointments.
