The majority of research in the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program (PFDP) focuses on improving clinical care for children with feeding disorders and their caregivers. The PFDP research agenda includes these four areas of research: integration of the basic literature on conditioned food aversions and preferences, evaluation of function-based assessment and treatment procedures, evaluation of the clinical and cost outcomes for the program, and evaluation of methods for training caregivers and effectively generalizing treatments to natural environments.
