The Social Work department at the Munroe-Meyer Institute provides a variety of services to families and individuals in the Omaha metro area, in rural Nebraska, and in Iowa.
 
Services include:

  • Therapeutic behavioral health services provided in the community to include home-based therapy
  • Behavioral health services at the Munroe-Meyer Institute and at the Ridge Clinic on the Jennie Edmundson Hospital campus, Council Bluffs, Iowa
  • Behavioral health services at the Ollie Webb Center for individuals with intellectual impairments
  • Formal and informal support to families of children with special health care needs
  • Services to provide assistance to young women with developmental disabilities in acquiring successful health and wellness skills
  • Grant-funded services to foster youth and their siblings
  • Grant-funded services and training to Early Head Start teaching staff in Iowa
  • Grant-funded training services for Early Head Start Family Advocates
  • Grant-funded services for a Support Group for Siblings of Children with Autism
