The Social Work Department at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute provides therapy and counseling services to address the social, emotional, behavioral and transitional issues of children and young adults with developmental disabilities and intellectual impairments, as well as, mental health needs.
In addition to therapy and counseling services, they offer behavioral consultations to assist young adults with intellectual impairments with the continuing education program and the career solutions program.
The Lincoln clinic is a specialty clinic that provides therapy and counseling services to address the social, emotional, behavioral and transitional issues of children, adolescents, and young adults on the autism spectrum.

The Jennie Edmundson clinic offers families and children services that focus on enhancing parenting skills, promoting pro-social skills for children and adolescents with behavior problems, and working closely with community pediatricians to provide seamless services for children and teens with mental health needs.
Referrals are currently being accepted and appointments are offered in the early evenings to accommodate families busy schedules.
