The Creighton/Children's Physicians-Val Verde Clinic was established in September 2010. The clinic provides services for children and adolescents with a variety of behavioral, emotional and developmental difficulties including:
- Noncompliance
- Disruptive behaviors such as aggression
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- School problems
- Sleep problems
- Toileting/bedwetting
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Habits and tics
The primary clinician is Dr. Jennifer Burt, a licensed psychologist and Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the Munroe-Meyer Institute and University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Burt received her PhD in school psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2008 and completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Munroe-Meyer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Burt accepts appointments on Thursdays between 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
