2-D Electrophoresis Analysis Using Invitrogen ZOOM® IPGRunner™
For researchers looking for a quick and easy way to perform isoelectric focusing (IEF) of select protein samples, the MSPCF offers consultation and equipment through other investigators for a short format two-dimensional (2-D) electrophoresis.
Employing Invitrogen's ZOOM® IPGRunner™ Systemisoelectric focusing of up to 12 samples can be completed in less than three hours. Using Immobilized pH gradient strips or IPG, proteins are separated by their net neutral charge (pI). Once the focusing is complete, the same system can be used to complete an SDS-PAGE analysis in 40 minutes.
