The Department of Neurological Sciences (DONS) has 16 full time faculty, 4 mid-level providers and 13 neurology residents. DONS faculty are specialized clinicians, recognized clinical researchers, and accomplished educators. Our faculty is a diverse group of well-trained professionals who work together to pursue the missions of the Department of Neurological Sciences.

Our residents are trained at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and affiliated institutions (Creighton Medical Center, Omaha Veterans Administration Hospital, and Children's Hospital).  We accept 3 residents per year starting at the PGY1 level.  Our resident's receive outstanding exposure and training in all aspects of neurological diagnosis and care.  In the past 5 years, our residents have excelled in national in-service examinations and have been competitively placed in fellowship programs nationwide.
