Target Audience
This activity targets nurses in all facets of quality care delivery, to include direct acute and post-acute patient care, nurse managers and educators who are interested in applying innovative nursing concepts related to women’s health to populations seeking care in northeast Nebraska.

Purpose
The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to apply nursing knowledge concerning commonly encountered health issues specific to women in the care and education of clients within current healthcare settings in northeast Nebraska.

Objectives:
At the end of this activity, the learners will be better able to:
1.  Identify how culture and sexuality can influence health status and our perception of health
2.  Discover common causes of infertility and evidence-based methods to treat each cause
3.  Explain hormonal changes in menopause, the conditions caused by imbalance, and effective methods to re-establish hormonal stability.
