Physicians, Nurses, Lactation Consultants, Registered Dietitians, Residents, PAs, NPs, nurse midwives, medical nutrition therapists, social workers.
The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to increase knowledge related to breastfeeding success, to include topics such as how an infant's musculoskeletal system impacts their ability to effectively latch and feed, strategies to improve milk production, and the importance of distinguishing between food intolerances and hyper-lactation.
